MY ROLE

This is a sample of my exhibit design work from my time at Orbus Exhibit. I provided custom exhibit/trade show booths for clients and account manager while documenting requirements and addressing technical concerns.

Trade shows are a great place to sell products, increase brand recognition, and network with potential clients. However, it is also easy to disappear in a sea of competitors. The goals was to not only ensure that the booths captured the brand essence but also provided a custom booth that stands eyes in potential customers.

LifeSmart tasked my team to create their first custom booth for the 2014 International Home and Housewares Show in Chicago, Illinois. I approached this project with the intention of highlighting Lifesmart's mission and vision along with emphasis on technology. Their mission was to combine home comfort technologies in smart, easy ways to make life more comfortable.

OUTCOME

LifeSmart had a positive reaction to the final booth design. The gentle curving wooden accents and reception counter set the branded tone in the exhibit space at the International Housewares Show.
LifeSmart combines home comfort technologies in smart, easy to use ways to make life more comfortable.

SDA Lighting Showcase 2014, New York City's premier lighting exhibition.
At the SDA Lighting Showcase, a customized booth was created to highlight Luminii’ dedication to developing customizable lighting that creates inspiring space. The company believed lighting should accentuate a space so that architecture can be appreciated by all who inhabit that space. Though very simple and clean looking, a lot of details were involved in the manufacturing of the light displays. The 10x10 booth was first installed at the SDA Lighting Showcase and then expanded out to a 10x20 booth the next year.

OUTCOME

Luminii was thrilled with the booth design execution. The booth designed highlighted their belief that lighting should accentuate their space. At the SDA Lighting Showcase, their first booth received a lot of visitors from attendees. The following year, Luminii expande their 10x10 inline booth to a 10x20 inline to increase the number of visitors in the space.

FINAL DESIGN

Lighting should accentuate our spaces so that architecture can be appreciated by all who inhabit them.
